VST support: You already mentioned this in the roadmap, but it would still be good if you could equip your mics with EQs etc. in your software without having to use other software. Background change from BEACN: On your website you could already see another design + white/dark mode. Wouldn't it be cool to create your own "BEACN MIX/Create" in the software... Third-party support: I'll take Elagto as an example, it would be cool if there were third-party software for developers to make the beacn even more practical, with multiple backgrounds, software integrations or plugins in general. Mix Create 2: That came to my mind spontaneously when I saw the shape of the BEACN Mix Create. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a "counterpart" to the "L" shape? ;D These are my ideas to make your good products even better!

Running a Windows Service would allow for the Mix/Mix Create to continue functioning even if the application isn't running. Additionally Windows services can be configured to automatically restart themselves if they fail for some reason, unlike the Beacn application.

The ability to control profiles and other elements from the Stream Deck or at least through hotkeys would be very helpful. I have different stream layouts that I trigger using multi-step commands on my Stream Deck, which include BEACN profiles. Right now, I have to remember to make the profile switches in the BEACN software manually.

VSTs and EQ are fairly self explanatory. Changing the virtual devices to allow for 7.1 surround support would allow us to either use a surround setup or take advantage of DTSX and some other virtual spatial. Alot of your customer base plays FPS games. Allowing of a custom eq of every virtual device would allow us to make our games/music both sound best Oh a virtual device for "movies" would be cool too on the EQ topic

Hey, I am a developer, and I LOVE to tweak a bit on everything and everything automated, so I would like the possibility of having a beacn API that would allow you to interact with the hardware to change sound levels, change profiles automatically (by pressing on a button of the streamdeck to change scene for example, change my audio level) etc...

Using one of the channels as a microphone control. When it launches during bootup it's always unmuted. I'd like the option to save the profile with a channel muted by default. I also noticed if I've set my mic to mute and the computer goes to sleep and wakes up again it'll be unmuted again.

Custom themes was something that's been repeatedly promised in forms but I've yet to see. This would be a great feature that I think many assume this device would already have. Also, and more importantly to me anyway, being able to see which output device is selected on the display would be very nice. I swap between headphones and speakers a lot, it would be nice to not have to refer to the app on PC to know which one it's going to use.

Allow us the option to reconfigure long press of each knob, instead of them all defaulting to change output source

Like most computers, the core of the idea is the user can define a duration where if the device has not been physically interacted with it would dim or turn off the screen, or enter some kind of screen saver (users choice), leaving the button leds active (in the case of the mix create), this would reduce burn-in, and ideally if the screen is fully turned off allow the device to enter its burn-in correction mode while it's on

In my opinion the sidebar takes up way to much useful space inside of the Beacn App. A way to compress it to a smaller formfactor or completely woud be amazing and give you room to see even more sources at once. Most people probably use 1 - 3 profiles anyways. I personally need just one and the basically full unused space kind of feels wasted. :) I created an example on how that could look. Of course this is by no means a professional Interface design, but i thought a visual concept could help!

VST support was promised last year and it hasn't arrived yet. I get these things take time, but beating the "the team is working on it" drum soon wears thin, so proper updates would be nice! Also the ability to be able to see which personal listening device you are using on screen would be a great feature. Themes, background changes etc would catch this thing up to its competitors a bit more, as well

Some way to change between at least 2 profiles (ideally any number) without having to open up the app and click on it every time would be useful. Most of the other functions are built to utilize the hardware - this would be a really helpful inclusion for those that change profiles on any kind of regular basis.

While the EQ changing is very nice on the BEACN application, I wish I had something to either increase pitch specifically or add distortion. I feel like this would be awesome for podcasts, game nights, DND, and for streamer-audience interactions!

just some pizzazz for the background. There's already ideas for screen dimming to reduce burn-in, but adding animations to keep the pixels changing can help with that too I would think. Plus, it would add some PIZZAZZ
