In my opinion the sidebar takes up way to much useful space inside of the Beacn App. A way to compress it to a smaller formfactor or completely woud be amazing and give you room to see even more sources at once. Most people probably use 1 - 3 profiles anyways. I personally need just one and the basically full unused space kind of feels wasted. :) I created an example on how that could look. Of course this is by no means a professional Interface design, but i thought a visual concept could help!

This feature is already available on the beacn mix...but I really would like to be able to change what my channels are called....for instance, I can rename Aux 1 to what I'm using it for. Not sure why the higher end beacn product didn't get this feature on release but would very much like to see it available soon!

Currently when you resize the desktop application the text quickly becomes unreadable. Using scrollbars or resizing non-text elements first would result in a much cleaner and more usable UI.

I been wanting to do music for a while but I cant record or sing on stream because there's a delay that ruins it all.

The splash screen currently gets in the way when booting for an app i will have in the background 99% of the time. Im fine with audio not working in that time but those 10 seconds of splash screen are jarring

There are times that some of the outputs from the routing table do not seem to transmit as intended. Only after changing the routing back and forth until it finally routes to the correct link is it resolved. I believe if we had the ability to restart the audio engine from within the software, much like programs like Voicemeeter have, this issue would be easier to resolve when it presents.

Would like an API preferably Websocket so that we can connect softwares like stream management software can manage the mixing studio or other parts from my stream software, E.g when I change scenes it mutes one audience out put and unmutes another ect.

I would like a simple theme for the beacn mix create/ beacn mix that shows the current "live audio" levels more accurately, I am colorblind (something that affects around 300 million people world wide) and the current contrast of the little line that shows how loud the audio in a particular channel is is very hard for me to see I'm sure I'm not the only one. something like how OBS has there colors for the live audio level indicator set up would be perfect or maybe just a toggle for "high contrast" this is by no means a deal breaker i already own both the beacn studio and the beacn mix create its just a quality of live thing!

This is probably oddly specific. But we had a little session a little while ago where it would've been super helpful to output the personal mix to multiple headsets at once. It'd be helpful in the setting of podcasts etc, but it'd be nice to include people in conversations when they come into the room too without having to switch to a set of speakers. "Just pick up a headset" would be real nice as an option. Such a minor thing but would improve the QoL by a mile for me!

At the moment, have 2 to 4 sound outputs. Headphones and local soundbar speakers, are two I use with it often. I'd like it to be able to handle my kitchen and living room soundbar also, along with the above two, sometimes I want sound to go one of those instead.

I know you are working on implementing hotkey support. Right now all we have are full channel mute toggle options. I would love to see this fleshed out to granular volume control for both the personal mix and the audience mix. This would give better support for macropads with nobs for audio adjustments on the fly. I currently use voicemeter macro buttons application to do just this and the granularity of volume change per hotkey input is available. This helps, if you say, have a larger knob on your macropad, you can dial in the speed of change. Thank you!

Currently does not support any Linux platform.

The ability to control profiles and other elements from the Stream Deck or at least through hotkeys would be very helpful. I have different stream layouts that I trigger using multi-step commands on my Stream Deck, which include BEACN profiles. Right now, I have to remember to make the profile switches in the BEACN software manually.

VST support: You already mentioned this in the roadmap, but it would still be good if you could equip your mics with EQs etc. in your software without having to use other software. Background change from BEACN: On your website you could already see another design + white/dark mode. Wouldn't it be cool to create your own "BEACN MIX/Create" in the software... Third-party support: I'll take Elagto as an example, it would be cool if there were third-party software for developers to make the beacn even more practical, with multiple backgrounds, software integrations or plugins in general. Mix Create 2: That came to my mind spontaneously when I saw the shape of the BEACN Mix Create. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a "counterpart" to the "L" shape? ;D These are my ideas to make your good products even better!

Running a Windows Service would allow for the Mix/Mix Create to continue functioning even if the application isn't running. Additionally Windows services can be configured to automatically restart themselves if they fail for some reason, unlike the Beacn application.
